Just wondering if some kind hacker would like to practice soldering and flashing on my Fire TV Stick. I was one of the folks who semi-bricked theirs with supersu me and Kingroot...
I have ADB but no root, boots to a black screen after animated rainbow logo. I can reboot to recovery, which seemingly does not make any changes to the device. Invoking a program like su or attempting a pm install freezes the adb shell. I haven't tried anything over USB yet. Invoking the settings menu, for instance, has no effect. I can get logs, ps, and navigate folders, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get it to a home screen.
But I wanted to put it out there - I'd throw some money your way for time, trouble, and shipping if you think you can re-flash it.
A dozen thanks in advance...
