The rumored Android One Xiaomi Mi A2, the successor to the popular Xiaomi Mi A1, is on the horizon with a release date rumored to be July 25th in Spain. We've known for a while now that a successor was on the way, but we haven't learned a huge amount about the device itself. Now, according to a report from MySmartPrice, the color and storage variants that will be available at launch have leaked. The colors that will be available at launch will be Gold, Blue, and Black. One of the lower-tier variants will have 4GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage while the other will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The higher-end offerings from the company will be 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That last variant will likely be the highest end Xiaomi Mi A2 model available.
But what else do we know about the Xiaomi Mi A2? There's not a huge amount actually confirmed yet. We expect that it's launching in Spain this month, but Xiaomi's expansion into Europe has been ongoing for a while now. The first European country they even entered was Spain last year. For now, practically every piece of information about the device is a rumor that should be taken with a grain of salt.
Everybody is eager to see the next Xiaomi Android One phone as it's not very often that we get to see a phone from the company running completely stock Android. Not only that, but Xiaomi phones tend to be cheap with decent specifications, so launching in one European country means that it can be easily imported in other countries while also keeping it affordable, in typical Xiaomi fashion.
