Set or check Nexus Imprint value for when to ask for password/PIN/pattern?

Nexus Imprint supposedly will ask for a password (or PIN/pattern) every 48 hours.

I've seen my 6P ask for the password but it sure seems like a lot longer than 48 hours.

Is there a way to tell when it will ask for the password or set a shorter time value? (I would prefer 36 hours.)
